Guangzhou’s secret recipe? A multitude of ingredients for a future filled with innovation. What really impressed me was the Huangpu district. The Huangpu district (黃埔區 / 黄埔区) is part of the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Guangzhou (Canton). It’s a district that encompasses four neatly divided areas: on the map, you can see the Guangzhou International Biotech Island located at the lower end of the district, in the middle the Science City and the Huangpu Lingang Economic Zone, and at the top, the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC). Together, they form an impressive ecosystem that is intensively supported. Thus, the Huangpu district is not only a center of scientific and technological excellence but also a vibrant example of the successful integration of industry, research, and development – a fascinating and inspiring environment.
